Audience presets allow you to save an audience configuration and reuse it across multiple surveys. This is useful when you regularly run research with the same targeting, such as brand trackers, ongoing studies, or standard audience definitions used across teams.
Presets help reduce setup time and ensure consistency when applying audience settings.
How audience presets work
An audience preset stores the full audience setup, including:
country and language
Once saved, a preset can be applied to any new survey draft and is available to all teammates in your organisation.
Saving an audience as a preset
To save an audience as a preset:
Create an audience in the Audience page of a survey draft.
Apply all required targeting, demographics, and quotas.
Click on the Save as preset icon on the right-hand side of the audience row.
Give the preset a clear, descriptive name.
Once saved, the preset becomes available for reuse across your team.
Applying a preset audience to a survey
To apply a saved preset:
In your survey draft, go to the Audience page.
Choose Preset audience.
Select the preset you want to apply.
The audience settings in your survey will update automatically based on the selected preset.
Things to be aware of
Preset audiences are shared across your organisation, so naming should be clear and unambiguous.
Attest also provides recommended preset audiences. Always review the settings before applying them to ensure they match your research needs.
Preset audiences cannot currently be edited or deleted once created.
If you apply the wrong preset to a survey, you can remove the audience using the trash icon and apply a different one.
Presets are only available when the language and country settings are compatible. Some presets may appear as Unavailable if the survey setup does not match.
