Set your brand tracker to recur automatically

Discover how you can set your brand tracker to be recurring, repeating automatically every day, week, month, quarter or half-yearly.

Updated this week

Creating a brand tracker in Attest is simple. With just a few clicks, you can set it to repeat automatically, so you continue collecting insights without needing to manually launch each new wave.

How to set up a recurring tracker

Follow these steps from your brand tracker results page:

  1. Click Manage in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Set up next wave.

This opens your survey in the standard editor. From here, you can review your questions and make any updates before the next wave goes live.

Once you’re happy with your survey, click Audience at the top of the page. You can adjust your audience settings as needed - for example, updating targeting or quotas.

When that’s done, click Review at the top of the page. In this final step, you’ll choose how often you want your tracker to repeat. You can select from a range of options - from Every day to Every 6 months.

If you prefer to launch each wave manually, leave the setting as Doesn’t repeat.

Editing before launch

You can edit a scheduled wave at any time before its launch date. This gives you flexibility if your plans change or you need to make last-minute adjustments.

How respondent exclusions work

When you use recurring waves, respondents from the previous wave are automatically excluded from the next one.

This prevents the same people from completing two consecutive waves, helping you maintain a fresh and unbiased sample each time.

Credits and reminders

  • Credits are taken from your default credit pot.

  • Credits are deducted when each survey launches, not when you schedule it.

  • You’ll receive an email reminder 5 days before each recurring wave goes live.

Make sure you have enough credits available ahead of your next scheduled launch.

If you need more flexibility

If you’d rather use a different timeline for your brand tracker, or set them live at irregular intervals, you can easily duplicate and schedule each subsequent survey.
