You can now upload video files directly into your Attest surveys - no YouTube link required.
What is it?
Attest’s self-hosted video upload lets you embed video content into your survey questions. Videos are hosted within Attest using a secure platform, and delivered without ads, recommendations, or login restrictions.
How it works
In the survey editor, select a question card, click the 'add media' icon, and choose Video.
Upload your video file into Attest - use the appropriate quality you require for playback (we accept multiple formats, MP4 is preferable, max 3 minutes)
The video may take a few minutes to upload depending on its size. You can click ‘Save’ to ensure that the video is then embedded in your survey
Once you launch your survey, respondents watch the video directly in the survey, they are not redirected elsewhere - they can't skip ahead until they've watched it in full
Things to know
Supported format: most formats supported
Maximum video length: 3 minutes
Videos are securely delivered within Attest and not publicly browsable
You can delete uploaded videos at any time prior to launch and update the media via the survey editor
If you are showing age restricted content, you must add a question to capture confirmation that the respondent meets the minimum age required (e.g. gambling content, alcohol advertising, age-restricted trailers)
